Hi everyone, I never thought I’d be in this position, but life has thrown some tough challenges my way. After a series of unforeseen events — including a recent hospitalization, sudden job loss, and the need to relocate across states — I’m reaching out for a little help to get back on my feet. I’ve dedicated much of my life to helping others in the mental health and recovery fields, but right now I’m facing one of my hardest chapters.
I’ve spent over 30 years working in the mental health and recovery field, helping some of the most vulnerable populations. I’ve worked with adolescents removed from their homes due to physical, emotional, and sexual abuse; supported military members and their families dealing with marital struggles and addiction; and helped young adults battling opioid and other substance addictions, as well as mental health conditions like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and depression. Much of my work has focused on guiding people on the edge of homelessness to find stability, rebuild their lives, and access care. I’ve also been honored to work with veterans, helping them navigate the complex challenges they face after service.
With no income at the moment and pressing expenses like housing, insurance, and basic needs, I’m asking for support to bridge this critical gap. Every contribution, no matter how small, will go toward securing safe housing, covering essential living costs, maintaining transportation and insurance, and giving me the stability I need to get back into the workforce. If you’re not able to donate, sharing this with others would mean the world. I’m deeply grateful for any support and am looking forward to paying this forward once I’m back on stable ground. Thank you so much for being part of my journey. With gratitude,
