Recently, after delivering a commissioned piece and receiving payment in cash, I stopped at the gym for a quick workout before heading back to the studio. When I returned to the locker room, I discovered my locker had been broken into. My wallet was gone, along with the commission I had just earned, my cards, ID, and my son’s birthday gift cards. I reported the theft to the front desk and the police, but I know the cash I worked so hard for is likely gone for good. Selling my art is how I provide for my family—it covers our essentials and keeps us going. This loss is a real setback, but I’m determined to keep moving forward for my kids. If you’re able to help, your support would mean so much to us and remind us that we’re not alone. Thank you for any kindness you can share.
