Hello! Thank you so much for visiting the GoFundMe page for Rebekah Colby.
At the beginning of 2026, Rebekah started feeling unusually low on energy, which she had initially attributed to beginning a yoga teacher training program. After going up a flight of stairs left her winded and feeling discomfort in her spleen area for a period of time, she knew something wasn’t quite right. On March 24th, Rebekah decided to check in with her primary care doctor. After a blood draw revealed some serious concerns, she was advised to go to the emergency room. That same evening, she was transferred to the Huntsman Cancer Institute, where she has remained inpatient ever since.
After extensive testing, doctors diagnosed Rebekah with Philadelphia chromosome B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. She started chemotherapy on March 30th. While this diagnosis marks the beginning of a long and difficult journey ahead, Rebekah is facing it with incredible strength and determination.
Rebekah and her husband, Ryan, are grateful for the outpouring of love and support from friends, family, and their community. As they navigate this challenging medical journey, they are facing many unexpected expenses and uncertainties. These funds will be used to cover medical expenses and living expenses. Any support you can offer will help ease their burden and allow them both to focus on Rebekah’s treatment and recovery.
I am Nicole West, Rebekah's sister-in-law and Ryan's sister. All contributions to their GoFundMe will be directly distributed to Rebekah and Ryan. Please note that contributions are considered gifts and are not tax deductible.
We will be updating Rebekah's CaringBridge page regularly and you can post words of encouragement there: https://tinyurl.com/2unp75j2
Thank you for your support of this kind, beautiful, and funny woman!
