Support for Rayvin and Ashley
August 7th is when Rayvin started to get sick. Ashley took her to the local ER 4 different times and they kept telling her it was a stomach virus. she ended up taking her to Toledo Children’s Hospital where they did a CT scan and that is when they found a brain tumor. They decided to do surgery to remove the tumor and have it sent out for testing Ashley and Rayvin are still currently in the hospital as she heals from the brain surgery. The brain tumor was tested and diagnosed as a Ependymoma which is a rare brain cancer in children. It is a grade 2 tumor. She will now need radiation every day, 5 days a week, for 6 weeks. She will start radiation in about 4-6 weeks after she’s healed from her brain surgery. during this time Ashley will need to keep all her time and focus on her babygirl as they go through the hardest thing a parent can ever imagine. The last thing Ashley needs to worry about is her finances. As a community we can come together and help this momma and her beautiful strong babygirl navigate their way through this by lifting a little burden off her shoulders !!
