It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Raymond Earl Dail Jr. Ray’s loss has left his family and loved ones heartbroken. He was a father, a grandfather, and someone deeply loved by those who knew him. Ray was such a joker, he loved pranks, laughing and being silly. His smile would light up a room. He loved being outdoors hunting and fishing, but his biggest love was his children.

Ray leaves behind four children and one grandchild, who are now facing this incredibly difficult time without him. This GoFundMe has been created to help support his family with any expenses that may arise, including immediate needs and the many unforeseen costs that come with such a sudden loss.

Raymond Earl "Ray" Dail, Jr., born July 17, 1970, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025 at the age of 55. He was a lifelong resident of the Spring Garden - Jasper community. Ray was an active member of Township No. 9 Fire Department where he served as Vice President. He attended New Life Church. As the owner of PMI Networx, Ray was well-respected for providing networking, security systems, and fire alarms to both private residences and commercial properties. Ray is survived by his parents, Earl and Linda Dail; his children, Chase Dail (Nicollette), Abby Rae Yennie (Tyler), Brooke Dail and James Dail; and granddaughter, Scarlett; sister-in-law, Crystal Hinshaw (Robbie); nephews, Ryan Piner, Brandon Dail and Hunter Dail; niece, Brittany Dail; and several great nieces and nephew. He is preceded in death by his brother, Michael Dail; grandparents, Merril J. Dail, Estelle Dail, Nolan Moore, and Roberta Moore. Ray had a strong love for Christ as well as his extended family. His compassion and his heart were larger than he.
