Support for Randy's hardship

Hi, my name is Cody Deutsch and I am starting a fundraiser for my best friend Randy Neves. Randy has been one of my closest friends since we met in 2016 and he is going through the most difficult time in his life. Randy is the kindest and most down-to-earth person I have ever talked to and knows how to always put a smile on someone's face.

In his kindness, he lent his mother his car to attend an event celebrating the anniversary of the Station Nightclub fire in Rhode Island in February 2023. She decided to drive home under the influence that night and ended up totaling his car, which was his only form of transport. To this day, Randy does not have a reliable way to get to and from work.

Randy moved into his apartment in June 2020 and in January 2022, Randy welcomed his mother into his apartment in an attempt for them both to become more financially balanced in their lives. In March of 2023, Randy became a victim of domestic violence at the hands of his mother, resulting in the loss of his apartment, which he called home over the last 3 years. Randy was wrongfully accused of putting his mother in danger, which resulted in a restraining order put against him. Because of this, he was escorted away from his apartment with no notice. In a short period of 4 days, she managed to destroy most of his property inside his apartment.

I ask for everyone to please be generous, as no one deserves to be treated like this by their own family. Especially their mother. All donations will go directly to Randy for him to re-obtain his lost car and damaged property. This will allow him to go back to work and rebuild his life.
