Hi, my name is Mary (my family calls me Yvette), and I’m starting this GoFundMe to help my nephew Ramon, who is bravely battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer that has spread to his liver. Just two weeks ago, Ramon was rushed to the ICU and was intubated for six days. Thankfully, he pulled through and has recently been released, but he still faces a long and difficult road ahead.

I was hesitant to start this fundraiser, but after talking with Ramon, we agreed it was time to reach out for help. All funds raised will go directly toward his medical expenses, any treatments he needs, and daily living costs. As his aunt and now his power of attorney, I want to do everything I can to make things a little easier for him and for our family. Ramon has so much to live for and so many plans he still wants to accomplish.

Our family has been through a lot—losing his dad (my brother) nearly three years ago was devastating, and almost losing Ramon two weeks ago broke our hearts all over again. The past three years have been filled with loss, but we are determined to support Ramon in every way possible and help him fulfill his wishes. Anything you can give will truly help.
