Ramon is a strong believer, loving husband, father and grandfather who has worked on the grounds at Los Arboles for many years. In the words of Cathy Cameron, “the groomed beauty of the farm is a reflection of his diligence and talent.” To each of the Cameron’s children and daughters/sons-in-law, Ramon’s presence is a fixture in all their memories of visits to their family home throughout the years. He exuded joy and faithfulness as he delighted in each new grandchild, prayed for Dougal’s business endeavors, and worked diligently to keep the grounds so they could be a blessing to countless ministries who would visit over the years.
In April 2018, while working full-time at a local cabinet shop, Ramon suffered a bad fall where he broke his rib, dislocated his clavicle and badly cut his fingers to the point where he no longer has feeling in them. While still not fully recovered from these injuries, Ramon was diagnosed with prostate cancer and underwent surgery in April 2019.
Ramon has a heart for the Lord and lives a rich life of awareness of God’s blessings despite these hardships. We hope to raise these funds in the same spirit of generosity he has poured out on Los Arboles and all who visit, as well as ease the financial burden on Ramon and his family as he focuses on healing. His medical needs have reached the limit that worker’s comp will cover, and insurance will not fully cover the expenses. Financial support would be a tremendous blessing in this time as he deals with medical bills from the surgery and lost wages from his injuries.
Ramon is hopeful that his son in Mexico will be able to come to the U.S. and work to help take care of his family while he cannot work. Please join us in prayer to trust God as the the ultimate provider for the Vallejo’s.
