My nephew Ralphie lost his house in a devastating fire that swept through his new home in which he poured his life into recently building. The selfless animal lover that he is, suffers 2nd and 3rd degree burns, patting out flames with his bare hands as they spread onto the fur of his dog, Klash. Despite the pain he was in, the only thing he could think about wasn’t losing his own life but saving his two dogs and cat. Police officers tried holding Ralphie back as he fought to try to get back inside his house multiple times to rescue his pets. Despite any suffering, we are incredibly thankful everyone made it out alive. Ralphie was sent to the ER and has been in the burn center for days getting treated for his burns/injuries and preparing for possible surgery. His beloved dog, Klash, also spent multiple days in the veterinary emergency as he is being treated for burns to the skin and smoke inhalation. Being that the house and everything inside is totally lost, Ralphie is left with nothing. He will need assistance to rebuild his life and get back on his feet.
