Update – July 14: Rafael Has Passed Away

Dear friends and supporters,

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share that Rafael passed away earlier today, July 14.

After a courageous and painful fight, Rafael is now finally at rest. He was surrounded by love, and his strength throughout this battle has left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Luisa, along with their three sons — Rafael, Samuel, and little Gabriel — is now facing an unimaginable loss. While nothing can ease the pain of this moment, we hope to continue supporting them during this next chapter, as they grieve, heal, and rebuild.

All donations will now go toward helping Luisa and the boys with expenses, ongoing living costs, and providing some stability as they begin life without their beloved husband and father.

Con profundo dolor les compartimos que Rafael falleció hoy, 14 de julio.

Después de una lucha valiente y dolorosa, Rafael por fin está descansando en paz. Estuvo rodeado de amor, y su fuerza durante este difícil proceso dejó una huella imborrable en quienes lo conocieron.

Luisa, junto a sus tres hijos — Rafael, Samuel y el pequeño Gabriel — enfrenta ahora una pérdida inconmensurable. Aunque nada puede aliviar este dolor, queremos seguir acompañándolos en este nuevo capítulo, mientras enfrentan el duelo, sanan y comienzan a reconstruir sus vidas.

Todas las donaciones serán destinadas ahora a cubrir los gastos d, las necesidades básicas de la familia y ofrecerles un poco de estabilidad mientras inician esta difícil etapa sin su querido esposo y padre.
