My mum, Radhika, suffered two heart attacks in late March and early April, followed by a series of severe strokes. She has been in ICU and now requires highly specialized care. Watching her go through this has been incredibly painful for our family. Radhika is the heart of our home—a woman who loves deeply, forgives easily, and lives her faith with quiet strength. Even in the hardest moments, she has shown courage and kindness.
We have done everything we can to ensure she receives the best possible care, but her medical expenses have grown beyond what we can manage. She was recently moved to the general ward at Life Entabeni Hospital in Durban, South Africa, but cannot be moved elsewhere due to her need for specialized care. My family and I have been paying whatever we can, but the bills are coming in faster than we can cope. We also need to consider my dad’s expenses and my mum’s future rehab costs. Unfortunately, my mum does not have health insurance, and we have already been rejected by some government facilities. The situation has left us with huge unforeseen costs and loans to repay.
We invite anyone who can to donate any amount—every little bit helps. Please share our story with others, as even small donations from many people can make a big difference. Your support, prayers, and kindness mean the world to us right now.
