Our brother, Quinten “Q” Hernandez, has passed after confronting cancer with extraordinary strength and with the same courage he embodied in his service to others. During this incredibly difficult time, we respectfully ask for any donations to help support Quinten’s family with funeral arrangements, the significant medical costs from his treatment, and future expenses for his unborn child.
Quinten was a proud veteran of the Army National Guard, where he served as a combat engineer. After his military service, he continued his commitment to others with the Glendale Fire Department, graduating from the Glendale Regional Public Safety Training Center in class 24-1. In his short but impactful career, he completed Hazardous Materials School and earning a core home on E157 A shift.
While Quinten’s professional accomplishments were exceptional, what he valued most was his family. He was a devoted husband, an expecting father, a beloved son, and a loyal brother. His legacy will live on within our department for years to come and will never be taken for granted or forgotten.
Thank you for your service, Q. Rest easy: your brothers and sisters will take it from here.
