Student-Athlete in His Fight to Recover
Yesterday, our community was shaken by a sudden and devastating medical emergency.
A 16-year-old student from Palos Verdes Peninsula High School, a dedicated student-athlete and one of the standout wrestlers in the program, suffered a hemorrhagic stroke without warning. He was rushed by ambulance and has already undergone emergency brain surgery. At this time, he remains in critical condition and is anticipated to undergo additional surgery.
This has been an
unimaginable experience for his family, who are now facing not only the emotional weight of this crisis, but also the uncertainty of a long road ahead.
As he begins his fight toward recovery, there will likely be a significant need for:
• Ongoing medical care and hospital support
• Rehabilitation and physical therapy
• Specialized treatments and follow-up care
• Transportation to and from medical appointments
• Meals and daily support for the family during this difficult time
This young man is known by his teammates, coaches, and friends as hardworking, resilient, and kind—qualities that define him both on and off the mat. Now, he needs the strength of his community behind him.
We are coming together to support him and his family in any way we can. Any
contribution, no matter the size, will help ease the burden and allow the family to focus on what matters most-his healing and recovery.
If you are unable to give, please consider sharing this page and keeping him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for your
compassion, generosity, and support during this incredibly difficult time.
