Hi, my name is Daan Meijer and I am asking for your support to help publish a book that my late father, Louk Meijer has co-written with two of his colleagues Marion van Bussel en Peter van der Eerden.

My father passed away in October 2023 when the book was almost finished. Marion and Peter continued their work and are now looking for funds to get the book published.

The book "Op een hellend vlak" is a biography about a preacher Johannes Lubberti (1605-1647). It's a scientific, historic publication, but easy to read and therefore accessible for anyone with an interest in history of Bloemendaal or Deventer.

It would have meant the world to my father to see this book get published. Therefore, it means the world to me.

I also know, he wouldn't have asked anyone for financial support, but I hope he won't mind that I will.
