Support for Preston Shaw’s Recovery After Racing Accident
Donation protected
On Wednesday, June 18, harness racing driver Preston Shaw was seriously injured in a racing accident at Century Downs. During the race, the horse in front of him fell, causing Preston’s race bike to flip. He was thrown from the bike and struck by another horse, resulting in a severe concussion and six broken ribs.
Preston is not only a dedicated horseman, but also a farrier whose livelihood depends on his physical health. His injuries will keep him out of work for several months, placing a huge financial strain on him and his wife, Emily, during an already difficult time.
We’re asking our community to come together to help Preston and Emily focus on what matters most—healing and recovery—without the added stress of lost income. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference.
Thank you for your support, kindness, and prayers. Let’s help Preston get back on his feet—stronger than ever.
