My name is Sreekanth Garimidi, and I am a family member and cousin brother of Prasanna Makkena, who lost her life in a car accident. It is with a very heavy heart that we share the tragic loss of Prasanna Makkena, a 26-year-old student who sadly passed away in a car accident in New Jersey. Prasanna came to the United States with many dreams. She was studying and searching for a good opportunity to build a better future for herself and her family. Her life ended far too soon, leaving everyone who knew her in deep pain.

Prasanna came from a poor farming family in India. She was the eldest child and had a younger brother and sister. Her father is a heart patient, and her mother is a homemaker who also helps with farming. Her family had many hopes for her, and now they are facing the unimaginable pain of losing their daughter while also struggling with the high cost of funeral arrangements and sending her remains back to India.
