Support for Poonam

Hello! I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of my friend Poonam Grewal. This past weekend while away on a nursing contract in Sydney, Nova Scotia her apartment back home in Regina caught on fire and was unfortunately destroyed beyond repair. My heart hurts for her as she has lost most of her belongings including important documents and the only pictures from her beloved and deceased parents and grandparents. Poonam has worked so hard the past decade as a new immigrant to establish herself in Canada all on her own and I can only imagine the work it will be to regain her lost belongings. She is a very resilient woman and I’m hoping that as a community we can step up to help her replace some of her lost possessions. Poonam is a dedicated nurse and friend, she has worked hard through the pandemic to help service her community, along with many other communities in need. Any and all donations would help her so much.
