Support for Polly & Family

On 10th April 2024 my life long best friends world was turned upside down. 15 days after Kerry giving birth to her beautiful baby girl Polly, Polly was admitted to hospital with suspected whooping cough. Within the next 24-48 hours Kerry & Jack would see their newborn go through things no parent should ever have to see.

On 12th April Polly's condition was confirmed as critical and Polly was placed into an induced coma to let her little body fight this horrible disease and let her lungs rest. Polly was then transferred to a London hospital PICU. Since this day, Kerry & Jack have been by their baby girls side night and day. They have been provided with parent accomodation by the amazing Cosmic charity. Unfortunately, this means they are away from home, unable to work and have no source of steady income. On top of this, Kerry's 7 year old first born son Henry is being cared for by her friends & family at home.

Whilst we are praying everyday that Polly will become strong enough to pull through this, Kerry & Jack have not been given a prognosis or a time frame on when this nightmare will end.

This fundraiser is to raise money for Polly, Henry, Kerry & Jack to be able to give them some comfort and reassurance in this traumatic and terrifying time. It will support all of their basic needs and day to day living. every single donation and penny counts and can hopefully lift a fraction of their stresses at the moment.
