
Support for Police Detective Errol Walker's Family

On April 6th, Detective Errol Walker, a 27 year veteran of the Davenport, Iowa Police Department, died. Detective Walker was two years away from retirement. He leaves behind his wife, also a Police Officer with the City of Davenport, and his only son.
Detective Walker served his country in the US Army. After his time in the military he returned to the community he grew up in and became a police officer in 1994.
Detective Walker impacted countless lives in Davenport while working as a D.A.R.E. officer. His other assignments include Gang Unit, Property Crimes, Computer Forensics, Emergency Services Team, and his most recent in the Warrant/Intel Unit.
His contagious smile and belly laugh brought joy to everyone around him. His legacy will live on through his son, who is currently enrolled at Iowa State University. Detective Walker was extremely proud of his son and was committed to him furthering his education.
This fundraiser was started to ensure Detective Walker's son can continue his education without the stress of the costs associated with it.
