Hi everyone. As some may know, my husband Pnut (Frank Hoyt) has been in the hospital for about a month. He had a really bad blood infection and abscesses throughout his body. The abscess he had on his spleen was the size of a baseball ! They were able to drain that one, but they also found other abscesses throughout his body. One of them was on his aorta, and the infection in the abscess was eating away at it and causing an aneurysm. They wanted to do surgery on him to clean out the infection and replace part of that artery, but they were waiting on the graft that they needed to come from Louisville, Kentucky. It finally came in yesterday on 1/28/26, and they were going to do surgery on the morning of 1/29/26. Before they were able to do the surgery, his blood pressure bottomed out, and he started going into seizures. They were able to give him medicine and stop it the first two times it happened, but when they brought him to the surgery room to do the surgery before they started, it happened again, and they were not able to get his heart back going.

So we started this GoFundMe to help with his expenses and cremation because he did not have any kind of insurance to help out. What ever is left after paying for his funeral service will go towards his bills he left behind because he was the only one bringing money in the house to pay bills. We will be having a memorial service for him on February 6, 2026 at seals funeral home in Livingston, Louisiana from 12 to 3 if anyone would like to come and pay their respects.
