Update as of April 24, 2024:
Dad is doing better at least from the virus standpoint that he had. He starts another chemo session today through Friday. he is really weak and has lost a lot of muscle mass due to chemo, sickness, decreased activity and not eating very much. he went nearly a half week without eating anything and finally ate a small amount a day or so ago.  Please continue to pray for him and my mom. if anyone can help them financially right now, it would be super helpful. They have used all the gofund money thus far and with Mom not being able to work very much and more chores to do such as mow the yard, money goes quick. if you are unable to help financially, please don’t put yourself in a bind because I know exactly how that feels. I’m going through that myself right now. I will update ASAP. Thanks and God Bless!

Sorry I haven't posted on Phillips progress on his chemotherapy treatments...as some of you know that last Wednesday the 3rd was his 4th chemotherapy treatment but wasn't able to take the treatment due to being pretty sick had some sort of virus he was hoarse, weak, coughing and etc...plus on top of chemotherapy made it worse...he had even more lower energy levels..but today he went to get his 4th chemotherapy treatment and his lungs was good, all of his lab work came back real good..his blood pressure was 118/79 which is excellent for him..he has 4 more chemotherapy treatments to go..he has rough days of chemotherapy cause he comes home with a chemotherapy pump that he's to wears from wesnday to Friday that runs him down then on Friday he wears a device that builds his blood count cells back up and on Saturday late evening when it's completed I remove it...by saying all this I look and I see how thankful he is cause God still gives him good days threw all this and he is still able get out take a drive when he is well enough ..I'm thankful that God is in control of everything and I look to him as well Phillip does too. tomorrow he goes to see UT doctor in Morristown for a follow-up for a upcoming surgery at UT in Knoxville he will have to get so please be praying for that I know God has this and I still have my faith and I believe in my heavenly father he will see Phillip threw this now that I'm a care taker it's rough on me I can't leave him to often when he has had his chemotherapy treatment for at least a week...so there times i cant be at church on sundays but God knows my heart..just say a prayer for me. God bless you all love y'all. ❤️

Update as of February 11, 2024:
Dad finished up the 28 chemo and radiation visits as of this week. It took longer than expected due to some sickness, pain and the winter storm. He goes this Wednesday for placement of a port for receiving 4 months of stronger chemo. This will be difficult but at least he doesn’t have to be on the road for over 2 hours every day for a 15 minute radiation treatment. He was unable to complete the PET scan because he was in too much pain so they plan to do that another time. The PET did however show lung nodule growth that they are concerned about so please continue to pray for him. I will continue to update as I can. They are bless to have your donations. Thank you!

Update:
Dad seen the Oncologist today. She said she is not worried about him and that this is treatable. He has stage 3 colon cancer. I won’t go into details regarding where and what is affected…She is not worried about the 11 mm lung nodule at this time. The plan is to do Chemotherapy pills at home and radiation 5 days a week for 4-6 weeks. Then rest, then chemo once a week for 2 days straight by port that they would set up on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday and remove 2 days later. He would complete all of this within 6 months. He then would be scanned again and if the lung nodule increased in size they would begin aggressive chemotherapy by port in the office. The surgeon would then decide if he still needs surgery to remove the tumor which would be done at UT Medical Center. Hopefully it decreases or disappears...He would need to get financial assistance at UT also before going there. Please continue to pray for him and healing.

Hi everyone! As you may know by now, Dad was diagnosed with colorectal cancer and he and my Mom are needing help with finances. Dad has been unable to work for a few years due to needing another ankle surgery, neck, shoulder and back issues that cause a lot of pain and now cancer. He hasnt had insurance coverage so he wasn’t able to get any tests or scans done but thank God he recently was approved for temporary coverage through a healthcare facility that allowed him to have a procedure done which put us where we are now. Mom will not be able to take as many jobs to pay their bills due to helping Dad and I am taking intermittent FMLA to has whenever needed so we are in dire need of help. Any help we can get will be beneficial for general bills such as transportation, electricity, food. Also, they have been in need of a new roof and other much needed home repairs that has not been able to be completed due inability to work and lack of financial resources. You all came to our assistance before and we cannot be more grateful for your kindness and generosity. If you can’t afford to help, please don’t put yourself or your family in a tough spot. You can also help us with praying for Gods will to be done. He has a plan and we are excepting his plan as it’s laid out before us. We all really appreciate each and everyone of you! God bless!
