On August 8, 2026, our family experienced a loss that words cannot fully describe. We said goodbye to our beloved father and husband, Phillip Fidelis Yalley, 64, after his courageous battle with leukemia, which began in March.

For the past several months, Phillip fought through an illness that slowly became more difficult. His family watched him face a battle no one should ever have to fight, holding onto hope and cherishing every moment we had with him. On August 8th, that fight came to an end.

Phillip was not just a father. He was the light of our family.

He was a deeply family-oriented man whose personality was one of the things that kept us together. He had a strong presence, a strong personality, and, as his family would probably tell you, he was stubborn until the very end. But that stubbornness was part of what made him Phillip. He knew what he wanted, he stood his ground, and most importantly, he always wanted to make sure his family was okay.

Phillip leaves behind three children and his wife, but his love and impact extend far beyond them. He was someone his family could depend on, someone whose presence brought people together, and someone who made his loved ones feel cared for.

Now, we are faced with something we never wanted to imagine: having to plan his final goodbye while we are still trying to process the reality that he is gone.

We have created this fundraiser to help our family cover the costs associated with giving Phillip the peaceful, respectful, and dignified farewell he deserves. Our goal of $50,000 will go toward funeral and burial expenses, funeral home services, preparation, cemetery costs, the memorial service, and other expenses involved in laying him to rest.

We know that $50,000 is a significant goal, and we are not asking one person to carry that burden. We are asking our family, friends, loved ones, and community to come together and help us during one of the most difficult moments of our lives.

Every donation matters. Whether you are able to give $5, $20, $50, $100, or whatever you can afford, your contribution will help us get closer to our goal. And if you are unable to donate, we completely understand. Sharing this fundraiser with others, saying a prayer for Phillip, or simply keeping our family in your thoughts means more to us than you know.

Phillip spent his life making sure his family was taken care of.

Now, we are asking for help to take care of him one last time.

We want to honor the man he was, celebrate the life he lived, and give him the farewell he deserves.

Phillip, you were the light of our family. Your voice, your personality, your love, and even your stubbornness will be deeply missed. Although you are no longer here with us, the love you gave your family will continue through your children and everyone whose life you touched.

Rest peacefully, Phillip Fidelis Yalley.

You fought your battle. You can rest now.
Until we meet again. ️❤️
