Our hearts are shattered as we mourn the unexpected passing of my son, Peyton Hughes who tragically lost his life at Toledo Bend Lake in Texas while on a tournament with the school. He was a student at Campbellsville University and a member of the Campbellsville University Kayak Fishing team. He was only 21 years old the same age his father was when he was killed serving in Iraq 20 years ago. To lose them both at the same age feels beyond imaginable.

Peyton was full of love, laughter, and dreams that were taken far too soon. Our family is asking for your support during this painful time. Donations will go toward funeral expenses, memorial arrangements, and helping us navigate the difficult days ahead as we grieve this devastating loss.
