Support for Peter Bostic Funeral & Memorial

Peter Bostic dedicated his life to serving many in his community as a civic leader and higher education administrator for over 40 years. Sadly, Peter lost his battle with cancer on June 9 and a memorial fund has been established to help his family defray their funeral costs. We invite those who’s lives were touched by Peter’s leadership, civic activism and friendship to show your support by contributing whatever you can to support his family as they prepare to lay him to rest. Peter had recently retired from the LA Community College District where he served as the Foundation Development Officer at LA Harbor College. He previously held positions as the Executive Director for the civic organization Leadership Long Beach, Executive Director of the Long Beach Public Library Foundation and served as President of the Blues Society. After retirement, Peter served as President of Bostic & Associates, a consulting firm for nonprofit administration fundraising, marketing in diverse communities and youth leadership programs and was also an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.  Peter avidly pursued photography as a hobby, he loved riding his motorcycle and hosting gatherings at his home with his beloved wife of 43 years, Heidy Bostic. Peter is survived by his wife, Heidy, his children Anthony Dandridge and Ashleigh Bostic, sisters Dawn Bostic and Maureen Truax, and his grandson Christian Dandridge.  Your generous support during this difficult time is greatly appreciated.
