Anyone who is a true South of Fifth local on Miami Beach knows Peter Zompa. He has bailed many of us out with his acumen regarding accounting, and now it is our turn to return the favor.

A few days ago, when he and his wife Yisselle and their infant twins Christopher and Zoe were fortunately out of town, their apartment was destroyed due to an electrical fire. Their cat barely survived, and they are essentially homeless while they deal with the process of rebuilding their home. I am trying to raise some money for them to deal with the expenses in the meantime until they are whole again. Insurance covers certain things, but that process is a long, frustrating ordeal as most of us know.

Peter has always been there for me in my most difficult of times, and the least I can do is call on our community to help me return the favor.
