Pennysue recently experienced a medical emergency that required immediate surgery. The results revealed she has colon cancer, and her family is now facing a difficult road ahead. While her insurance covers some aspects of her care, it unfortunately does not include the housing she will need during treatment or the transportation required for her many appointments with her primary doctor and surgeon. As she prepares to begin chemotherapy, the costs are quickly adding up and have become overwhelming for her loved ones.

Each time she needs to be transported to an appointment, there is an out-of-pocket fee, and her monthly housing costs are significant. These expenses are not covered by insurance, making it challenging for her to access the care and comfort she needs during this critical time.
