With heavy hearts, we share with you that Evergreen Park native, Peggy Trucksis, lost her husband, Michael O'Connell, on Feb. 2021. Mike, an Oak Lawn native and Saint Linus Alum died suddenly and unexpectedly.
Mike was a devoted son, brother, husband, and a most loving father to Harper (13).
Mike, Peggy, and Harper had recently relocated from Moorpark, CA, to the East Coast, hoping for new opportunities. Mike suddenly became ill, spent a week in intensive care, and had several surgeries. As you can imagine, the medical bills are astronomical. Peggy has a strong faith and everlasting hope, much derived from growing up in Evergreen Park, in a large catholic family.

Peggy attended Most Holy Redeemer (78) and Mother McAuley High School (82) and studied at the University of Illinois.
We want to set up this GoFundMe to help Peggy manage expenses during this time of grief and transition. Any amount would be greatly appreciated.
