My name is Lily, and I am the oldest daughter of Pedro Hernandez, who in the early hours of May 31, 2026, passed away due to a head injury and numerous other serious medical complications. He was the strongest and most selfless man I have ever known. While this year was difficult, it brought us even closer together, and I am so proud of the man he was and the incredible work ethic he possessed. My dad was one of the most important people in my life, and I will miss him terribly.

Pedro was a loving father and grandpa who did his best to care for our family, even while facing ongoing health struggles. Over the past several years, his condition gradually worsened, and he spent a lot of time in and out of the hospital. It was a difficult journey for him and for all of us watching him fight through it, but he continued to push forward the best he could. Losing him has been incredibly painful, and we are still trying to process everything while also taking care of the arrangements.

As a family, we are doing our best to stay strong, but we are also facing the financial burden that comes with funeral expenses. I’m truly grateful to anyone who takes the time to read this, share it, or support us in any way. Every bit of kindness means more than words can express during this time.
