Support for Rickey & Payton Terry

Hello, my name is Jordan. I am organizing a fundraiser for my cousin, Payton Terry (left in photo) & her husband, Rickey Terry (right in photo).

 

Rickey, 28, and Payton, 25, have been married since 2019. They met in 2013, in Alabama, where they reside. They were neighbors, literally the boy and girl next door. They live on a small farm where Payton manages the home, and rescues dogs and horses. Rickey works at the local Hexcel plant.

 

 

 

 

 

 

A few weeks ago, Rickey began experiencing confusion, headaches, severe nausea, and then vision changes. He went to the doctor, where they ran tests and did blood work. Unfortunately, they found masses on his brain and in his lungs. He recently underwent surgery to remove 2 masses on his brain.

 

 

Rickey was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastasic Melanoma. Presently, Rickey is scheduled to undergo radiation treatment. Possibly chemotherapy in the future.

 

Due to the surgery and current course of treatment, Rickey is out of work. Payton is feeling overwhelmed with trying to manage all the responsibilities and supporting Rickey in his fight against cancer. Any support or donations will help them greatly, and give them peace of mind in knowing they are not alone during this difficult time in their lives.
