Support for Patrick Eskildsen and Ohana

Aloha Family and friends,

My name is Sarah and I am the daughter of Patrick and Scarlet Eskildsen. I am setting this go fund me up on behalf of my parents who were injured in our house fire on April 7th. My parents received 2nd and 3rd-degree burns while trying to put the fire out. As you can imagine, my sister and I are heartbroken over this disaster. However, we are extremely happy our parents are alive! Their burns and treatment are painful, but we are confident in their recovery. Our parents are strong and positive people. Luckily, our house did not burn down although it incurred some damage in the kitchen area.

My mother has since been released from the burn unit and my sister and I are taking care of her at our home while my dad is still undergoing treatment after having skin-graft surgery on his hands and arms. Unfortunately, at this time both of my parents are unable to work, and we are unsure of how long the healing process will take. Our main focus at the moment is on their recovery and healing, and we are reaching out for any assistance to help alleviate the burden of our mounting medical and financial obligations. As of now, we are unsure how long my dad will be out of work. Doctors are hopeful for a full recovery, at this time we are unsure of how long that will take.

We know not everyone is able to donate financially, but we are truly grateful for your aloha, love, well wishes, and prayers. We know it all makes a difference in our healing. We are hoping to get my dad back shredding on the guitar again sooner than later.
