Support for Pastor Mary After Tragic Loss

I am Pastor Mary Ann Pulley and on Monday June 17, 2024, I lost my one and only son to a tragic accidental drowning. I am absolutely heartbroken about the loss of Demetrius in such an unexpected way. As many know, a child passing before a parent makes the loss even harder.

Demetrius was a man with a huge heart. He never wanted to see family or friends go without the basic needs in life, such as water, lights, food, and shelter. If he couldn't give his time or help via manual labor, he would help them financially when he was able. He had a huge heart and that huge heart is now being cared for by God.

Demetrius had many friends that essentially became family to him. I would become mama Pulley to a whole host of his friends because he knew they needed the love and support of a family that they might not have had. He will be missed greatly by a tremendous amount of people, especially by his children, niece and nephews, and his sister.

In spite of the homegoing service being paid for, I was hesitant to reach out and ask for help with the unforeseen expenses involved in planning a funeral. My friends and family made it clear that it isn't a shameful thing to ask for help and support. I want to thank you all for all your love. support, and prayers.
