I have been family friends with the Schulte family for nine years, with our sons playing sports together since kindergarten. The Schultes have always been an integral part of our lives and community, and hearing about Pastor Jay’s recent accident has deeply impacted us all.

Pastor Jay recently suffered a devastating work accident, falling from a ladder and severely injuring his eye. He is now awaiting a second surgery and faces a long road to recovery. As the main provider for his family, this tragedy has placed an immense burden on him, his wife Melissa, and their five children.

Melissa and Pastor Jay are deeply involved with their church and have always been compassionate, helpful, and kind-hearted individuals who go above and beyond for others. Despite his own hardships, Pastor Jay has always found joy in serving his family and community, even cooking delicious meals to bring happiness to those he loves.
