For the past couple of years, my dad has been dealing with a great deal of health issues and my mom has been there by his side taking care of him, going to work and taking care of all the duties at home. They’ve been financially well because he had a good job but due to his health declining fast, circumstances have changed.

The last week has been a whirlwind of emotions for my mom. My dad went in for a swollen arm on July 28 and ended up having to be admitted and has been there since. Yesterday we had a big scare with my dad, thankfully he is ok but he had to be transported to a hospital that is better equipped to help him heal. It will take him several weeks, even a couple of months, to recover and to heal.

School is about to begin and my mom will have to travel from home to his hospital and this will put a huge indent in her funds. I am asking on behalf of my parents, they are not aware, for monetary help with travel expenses and food. Both my parents work in the education field and have been out of school for the last couple of weeks or so, and have been living on their savings which have been depleted. We, as their children have helped as much as we could but can only do so much. So on behalf of my parents we ask for help from friends and family. Anything would be appreciated.
