Hello, my name is Cindy Kudelka and I'm setting up a GoFundMe for my spiritual family, the Blazquez family, and Papa Frank "Tekpatzin/Mah Piya Aka Mani" Blazquez.

As a mentor, spiritual brother, friend, and second parent to many, Papa Frank is a cherished and valued member of our community. For many years, Papa Frank and the Blazquez family have been a pillar in our community and many of us have them to thank for paving the way to our spiritual development in our teen years through indigenous teachings. They hold a special place in our hearts for all they had selflessly shared with us during a pivotal time in our lives. With inipi cermonies, trips to South Dakota, and lots of community-based events, they helped us to tap into parts of ourselves that molded who we have become as adults.

As many of you already know, in May 2024, Papa Frank had been diagnosed with a stage 4 Glioblastoma brain tumor. The very short time that he has left is sacred for both him and the family. Because of this, the family has focused on taking a pause in their everyday lives and jobs to prioritize being by his side during this transition. With this comes the unexpected financial burden, which also includes unforeseen medical, memorial services, and legal expenses.

Many of us in the community have been seeking ways to help during this time. This GoFundMe has been made in an attempt to help assist with that burden. If you are able to, please consider donating whatever you can. Let's help to limit their burden during this sacred and difficult time.
