Pam Tardy Wilcox Breast Cancer Recovery Support
Donation protected
Just a few days before her 36th birthday, Pam had unexpected news. She and husband Chris had been hoping to add to their family, so she went to the doctor for a checkup. This appointment would eventually lead to the diagnosis of invasive ductal carcinoma, an aggressive form of breast cancer.
Plans were quickly made to preserve fertility and egg retrieval was successfully completed at the beginning of August. Now her focus is on beginning her cancer treatment: Six months of chemotherapy, followed by surgery, and an additional six months of immunotherapy.
Although Pam has fairly good medical insurance it does not cover everything. Already her current out of pocket costs is $6,700 and she will need to meet her 2020 deductible of $3,600.

More than anything, Pam and Chris want to keep life as normal as possible for their 2-year-old son, Miles. I’m hoping this fundraiser will help relieve any financial worries and allow them to do that.
Your donation will go toward medical costs that insurance does not cover, as well as easing the family’s needs such as respite childcare or food delivery. We expect she will have additional costs as the months of treatments go on and every little bit will truly help with these costs.
Thank you in advance for your support of Pam and her family. Your kind wishes, sympathetic words, and thoughtful contributions are greatly appreciated.
