In March of 2020, things changed for Pam Ford, as they did for so many of us. She (the owner of a craft services/catering company) and her husband (musician) both found themselves out of work overnight. Following a year of unemployment- and with reopening and a return to work on the horizon- in March of this year Pam received a diagnosis of colorectal cancer.
Here I'd like to pause to say: If you are lucky enough to know Pam, you have likely experienced firsthand her generosity of spirit. Whether it's fostering shelter dogs, assembling care packages for people experiencing homelessness, or throwing a baby shower for a young pregnant first time mother who was her server at Waffle House (true story) Pam exemplifies kindness, compassion, and caring. She leads with love.
As she now enters into her second round of chemotherapy, with mounting medical bills, surgery on the horizon, and an obvious inability to work, Pam could use our support. All funds collected will be used to cover her medical and living expenses, as she continues treatment and works to regain her health over the next several months.
Thank you for considering supporting my dear friend, who has spent her lifetime supporting and nurturing others.
