My niece Paisley is currently battling viral myositis following a recent flu infection. After a sudden decline in her health, she was rushed to the ER and then transferred to Springfield Children’s Hospital. There, Paisley is undergoing surgery to remove infected muscle tissue from her leg. It’s a frightening and uncertain time for our family, as we don’t yet know how many surgeries she will need before she can come home.
Paisley’s parents are doing everything they can to be by her side, but the costs are quickly adding up. Between travel expenses for hospital visits, mounting medical bills, food, and lost wages from missed work, the financial strain is overwhelming. Our hope is that, with some help, Paisley’s parents can focus on her recovery without the added stress of these expenses.
Paisley is a bright, loving child who brings so much joy to everyone around her. Seeing her go through this has been incredibly difficult for all of us, but we are staying hopeful and strong for her. The support from friends, family, and even strangers means more than words can express. Every message, prayer, and act of kindness lifts our spirits and reminds us that we are not alone in this fight.
We are so grateful for any support you can offer—whether it’s a donation, sharing this fundraiser, or keeping Paisley Ann Marie in your prayers. Every little bit helps, and your kindness means the world to our family as we hope for Paisley’s speedy recovery.
