Hi, I am reaching out for our amazing community support to help with the expenses that the Osterman's have had to face unexpectedly this past weekend. Their youngest daughter, Paisley whom is 7-years old, was in a terrible accident during our small town celebration and here in her own Mom's words, is what they went thru:
"Yesterday was it for us, in the blink of an eye we were thrown into every parents worst nightmare. I didn't sleep at all the night before, I had a pit in my stomach and the worst anxiety I have ever had to the point where I physically felt ill. I accredited it to preparing for a long and busy day, but I now know it was my body trying to tell me our world was about to be turned upside down. While Kyle and I were on different sides of town taking care of our other Lions Club Burns Day duties, our kids were in the parade for various floats. I got a call nobody ever wants to get, with the phone muffled and hard to hear with all the noise around all I heard was "Paisley... get down her now... ran over". Everything from there is a blur. I jumped in my truck, racing across town, and ended up leaving it running in the middle of the road as close as I could get to the parade, running the rest of the way to find our baby lying in a crowd on the ground. In a complete and total freak ACCIDENT she had been ran over by a trailer during the parade. Kyle was a little behind me, he was running on foot across town, eventually stopping a random vehicle and asking for a ride to get there faster. Minutes seemed like hours as we were waiting for life flight to arrive. My poor baby was in so much pain and was scared, but was being so tough, I couldn't believe how brave she was given the circumstances, she truly is the warrior we have always said she is. I was not allowed to go with her in the helicopter so we jumped in a truck to get to Colorado as fast as we could. The day was long and terrifying, but we are immensely grateful to say that she is going to be ok. The trauma surgeon is astonished, considering what happened to her, that she has no life threatening injuries. Just needs to be closely monitored."
So Paisley is now home and slowly recuperating but the family is and will still be monitoring her very closely. This family has undergone some financial burdens over the past year and now with all this recent events along with those expenses, any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time in reading this as well as please continue to pray for Paisley as well as her family on her healing and strength. This little girl is a fighter for sure... has been since day one.
