Hello friends and family,

As many of you know, Owen’s health has declined rapidly due to Stage 4 COPD and Long COVID. The good news is that he is a candidate for a double lung transplant at Toronto General Hospital!

We are excited for this second chance, but the financial strain has become overwhelming. The "rigorous testing" phase requires me to take significant unpaid time off work to be Owen's caregiver and driver. Between the loss of wages, travel costs to Toronto, and the fact that Owen's disability supports are minimal, we are struggling to cover our basic rent and utilities.
