Our dad, Emmanuel, has always been the person people could count on.
For years, he worked with Pasadena Neighborhood Housing Services, helping rebuild homes, clean neighborhoods, and support families trying to create better lives. He believed deeply in community, service, and showing up for others when they needed it most. Today, our family is asking for that same kindness to be shown to him.
Our lives changed, when we lost my brother the person who lovingly cared for our father every day. His passing left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled, and it also left our dad without the caregiver he depended on.
Since that loss, our father’s health has declined rapidly. He is battling diabetes and prostate cancer, and he now depends on regular dialysis treatments to survive. He needs 24 hour care, and the reality is something we never imagined facing so soon.
The hardest part is knowing how much he wants to be with his family. He wants to sit at the table with his grandchildren. He wants to watch them grow up. He wants more time with the people he loves.
We want that for him too.
Our biggest goal is to relocate him to live with us in another state so we can care for him full time and support him through the long journey toward a kidney transplant. But the medical bills, relocation costs, and daily caregiving expenses are more than we can handle alone.
This is why we are asking for help.
Your donation will go directly toward:
• Life sustaining medical treatments and dialysis
• Safe relocation so he can live with family • Daily caregiving and essential living expenses
• Costs related to his kidney transplant journey
Every contribution, no matter the size, helps give our dad something priceless: time with his family.
If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser means just as much to us. Your support, prayers, and kindness are helping carry our family through the most difficult season of our lives.
Thank you for helping us give our dad hope, comfort, and the chance to keep making memories with the people who love him most.
