Hello fellow educators and staff,

My name is John O’Brien and I am a STAR teacher with the Clark County School District (CCSD). My wife Carolyne and I are kicking off this fundraiser with the first $100 donation to support a fellow staff member in need.

We are raising funds for Ben Ray, a teacher aide who relies on a walker for safe mobility due to severe cerebral palsy. His current walker no longer meets his needs, and a new, properly fitted walker is necessary for him to continue working and maintain his independence. The total cost of the walker including freight is $1,200.

Despite significant physical challenges, he works daily to support students in the classroom. Having appropriate mobility equipment will improve his safety, comfort, and ability to move throughout the school day.

All donations will go directly toward the purchase of the walker. Any funds raised beyond $1,200 will be donated to Opportunity Village to support individuals with disabilities.

Every contribution, no matter the size, helps—and sharing this fundraiser is just as meaningful. Thank you for your support!
