Support for our SUPER NOVA for round 2 chemo

Angelic, Perfect, Happy, Sweet, Joyful, Smiley. Our Super Nova.

Nova was diagnosed with Leukemia yesterday.

As more tests come in they are telling us that she has a very aggressive type of Leukemia, which means that her treatment will be more aggressive also (chemo). Today they’re going to take a piece of her bone out of her hip to have that tested. She will have to be in the hospital at least a month before they can let her go home and then she could be home a little while and then back for a long time again.

Unfortunately, she also tested positive for Covid or had it at one time. So they are in a lockdown situation with Nova in the room. Which means that Andy and Tristan can’t go out of the room either.  They will not be able to see the other 3 kids for a while including their newest baby until they get they re-tested after the CDC timeline.

In addition to the diagnosis, and Covid, our Super Nova is a special needs child with down syndrome.  We are not sure what this will mean for her treatments or care, but we do know that Nova brings joy and happiness to everyone she meets, the Dr's & Nurses will adore her as we all do and she will keep her parents laughing and entertained. She is pretty SUPER!

We are asking for help for Andy and Tristan at this time of need.  The last thing you want to have to think about is paying for chemo/hospital bills. Andy is self employed and his income is essential to the family, the funds will be used for anything they need including household expenses and hospital care/ bills that we know will come. No amount is too small (or too large).

They can use all the love, help and prayers for their super Nova & sweet family.

Thank you!!! On behalf of Andy & Tristan's families, this account will be turned over to them to use & manage the funds when they need it.

The Back Story.
Nova hadn't been feeling well the past couple of weeks, just achy, tired, etc. Then her foot was hurting and she couldn't walk on it.  The dr's said her foot was fine, it was not broken or sprained, not sure why she wasn't getting better they took back to the dr.
Less than 24 hrs ago they tested her blood and said her white blood cells were dangerously off and sent them to Primary Children's in SLC immediately where they got the devastating news that no parent wants to hear.
