It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our mother after a long and difficult battle with illness.

For many years, she faced significant health challenges, but earlier this year her condition took a turn for the worse. In the last month alone, she was in and out of the hospital countless times as her health continued to decline. After a long fight, she was finally able to come home to rest, where she passed peacefully surrounded by the people who loved her most.

Through it all, our stepfather Rick Dyel never left her side. He devoted himself completely to caring for her, spending countless days and nights ensuring she was comfortable, loved, and never alone. His unwavering dedication allowed her to spend her final days where she wanted to be most, at home with her family.

Because of the level of care she required, he was unable to work consistently and has gone without income while focusing on what mattered most: being there for his wife.

As our family navigates this heartbreaking loss, we are hoping to ease some of the financial burden he now faces. Funds raised will help cover cremation expenses, household bills, and provide support while he catches up from the work he missed during her final months.

More than anything, we want to give him the opportunity to grieve the loss of his wife without the immediate stress of financial concerns. He spent every moment he could caring for her, and we would love to help carry some of that burden for him now.
