Support for our querida Maestra Romero

Unfortunately, due to visa issues, Maestra Romero will need to return to Mexico at the end of this month. We understand that this news is both deeply emotional and difficult, and we want to acknowledge the impact this may have on our school community.

We deeply appreciate Maestra Romero’s dedication to her students and her incredible work in fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment. With seven years of service at MLA and eleven years in OUSD, she has been a key leader, mentor, and inspiration to so many of us. Her presence and contributions will be greatly missed, not just by her students but by all of us who have had the privilege of working alongside her.
