Support for our parent’s health battle.

Dear friends, family and loved ones,
My siblings & I (Brianna) are asking for help due to our parents recent medical diagnosis. I’m sure my parents are pacing the floor at the thought of this being posted, but everyone needs help sometimes. We understand not everyone is financially able to help, but we appreciate everyone’s well wishes and support. Down below I’ve included some paragraphs written by my older sister and brother. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Robbie.
I guess if you’re reading this you probably know my parents Robert and Kathryn Rymarz, there is a good chance you also know my two sisters Renee and Brianna. You might not know me though. I’m their oldest child, the one with Asperger’s.
I’m asking your help in raising funds for end of life expenses for my parents. Many of you are aware of my dad’s poor health over the years, over the last two decades even, and more recently my mom’s poor health.
My Dad had worked as a chef for many years in the restaurant industry, he loved the work and loved the people working both front and back of house. from talented chefs, dishwasher keeping a kitchen going to the servers dealing with patrons. His career in the restaurant industry was ended when he had his first heart attack and subsequently developed Multiple Sclerosis
My parents together made the decision for him to stay home and raise my two sisters and I. My dad still loved the food industry and you may have seen our family trips meeting Chef’s around the country, my dad teaching us the importance of doing a job well, and doing something you love.
I still remember pastry chef Sarah Mispagel coming over to us in Nightwood and asking if we had dessert yet, and then watching her cook while she talked about that night’s service.
My parents have always did their best to provide for us, holidays and birthdays. We would sometimes have friends over and my parents would cook them dinner it wasn’t until years later I knew why they would tell us kids to eat while they did something else.
My mother has been a hard worker, probably the hardest I know. She has often driven me home after coming over for dinner to mention she had work the next day at 6am but would need to be up by 3am to get there on time.
her health over the last few years has put her out of work for months at a time only for her to go back working 70-80 hours a week.
I believe as debt piled up from medical bills and other unforeseen expenses she just figured she could keep working to stay afloat.
I type this knowing that she was diagnosed with colon cancer two weeks and as we wait to hear more about the prognosis she’s still working.
a year or so ago my parents went to my sister asking if their daughter would co-sign my mom’s truck as to lease was up and over the last 6months with her out of work from a heart attack herself they had to put all their expenses on credit cards.
My parents weren’t able to come to me and ask a favor after always providing for me in the past.
So I’m asking everyone here who knows my mom and dad if you’re able to, would you help them during this time. Any funding raised from this campaign would go to helping them cover medical costs, mortgage payments, groceries and ultimately funeral expenses.

I fear this financial burden will fall upon my two sisters, and I’ll once again be unable to help my parents. Any support or help provided would be greatly appreciated.

Renee -
We find ourselves facing an unimaginable challenge as both our beloved parents are grappling with unimaginable health issues. Our father is in the late stages of heart failure, rendering him unable to work and dependent on disability support.
Simultaneously, our mother has been diagnosed with colon cancer, a diagnosis that has halted her ability to work as she bravely fights this relentless battle.

As medical bills pile up and their income dwindles, we are reaching out to you, our extended family and friends, for support during this trying time. Your financial contributions will play a crucial role in helping them cover essential expenses such as mortgage payments, insurance, car loans, and groceries. Additionally, they are facing significant hospital bills, funeral expenses and attorney fees that have become a unforeseen burden on top of the emotional toll of their illnesses.

Your kindness and generosity will not only alleviate the financial strain on our family but also provide much-needed emotional support. Every donation, no matter how small, is a lifeline for us as we navigate through these challenging times.

We understand that times are tough for everyone, and your thoughts and prayers are equally appreciated. Please consider sharing this campaign with your network, and let’s come together to support our parents and their well-being.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being a beacon of hope during this difficult journey.

With gratitude,
The Rymarz Family
