A few weeks ago our friend, Ms. Janice, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The road ahead is going to be a very difficult one for her and her family. Surgery, treatments and medications will all take a toll physically, emotionally and, of course, financially. But for those of you who know Ms. Janice, the hardest part is not being able to see her little cherubs each and every day at work. You see, Ms Janice has worked with children for most of her life. From St. Mary's School in New Monmouth, New Jersey (where she also fostered over 80 children) to Summit Kids Academy  (formerly Northtree Learning Center). I have had the privilege of working for and beside Ms Janice for the past 16 years.  With a heart of gold, Ms Janice always gave of herself. It did not matter if you were one of the children, a parent or staff member, she was there for you, for whatever you needed, no questions asked. You were family, and Ms. Janice loved and always took care of her family. 
Her husband, three children, their spouses and 7 grandchildren are all pictured here.  Can you feel the love? Ms. Janice is their rock.
It is now our turn to help take care of Ms. Janice, to see her through this, to be her rock. We are collecting funds to help with medical costs, transportation to and from the various doctors that Ms. Janice is scheduled to see and give her that peace of mind to focus on only healing and not bills. Stress is a number one fuel for cancer and we need to ensure that Ms Janice has zero stress in her life, just love.
