In 2025, my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and since then, our world has been turned upside down. She is the heart of our home—a devoted mother and the primary caregiver to my two sisters: a 16-year-old who still needs her guidance and a 27-year-old who is disabled and depends on her daily care. Even while fighting for her own life, my mother has continued to put her children first. She has been undergoing chemotherapy, but the cancer is now spreading rapidly into her bones. Doctors initially gave her 10 months to a year, but with this recent progression, that timeline may now be much shorter. We are facing this battle without health insurance. Every treatment, hospital visit, medication, and emergency expense is completely out of pocket. I have been doing everything I can—calling out of work to take my mother to appointments, sitting beside her in hospital rooms, and supporting my family every step of the way. My father works long hours to keep our home and bills afloat, but the financial burden of medical care and future arrangements is overwhelming. As a family, we are doing our best to stay strong and united, but we need help. Funds raised will go directly toward medical treatments, hospital expenses, medications, emergency care, future arrangements, and providing stability for our family during this uncertain time. There is no such thing as a small donation. Every contribution, every share, and every prayer makes a difference. Please help us come together and remind my mother that she is not fighting alone.
Thank you,
The Garcia Family
