Dear family and friends, 

On January 6th, 2021 our family found out that our loving mother (Patrocina Calderon Arzate) has been suffering from stage 4 lung cancer.  This terrible news has been so hard on us because she is our everything. She is a supportive mother who always pushes us to do our best.  She is the reason we are who we are today. She is my best friend. She is my motivation. Watching  her get worse and worse everyday breaks my heart, no one wants to see a loved one in pain, especially their mother. I wish I could take it all away, but unfortunately life doesn’t work like that. This year will be the hardest time of my family’s life. Since we received the news, her cancer has metastasized spreading to various vital parts of the body which demands for her to have proper care from healthcare members as well as family and friends. Unfortunately her cancer was detected at the last stage with not many options for us to take. Over the past 2 months her condition has complicated critically to a point where we have been forced to make the most unfortunate decisions for her well being. She  was just starting chemotherapy and radiation but her body was too weak to handle the treatments so we have decided to bring her home.  She is currently in hospice, we are taking care of her while loving her every single day til forever. At this time we are praying for donations and all the help we can get in order to support her during these truly unprecedented and most challenging time in our lives. Necesitamos su ayuda y sus oraciones. El 6 de enero de 2021 nuestra familia se enteró de que nuestra querida madre (Patrocina Calderon Arzate) padecía de cáncer de pulmón en estado 4. Ella siempre a sido una mamá que nos apoya con cualquier meta que nos pongamos en mente. Siempre llena la casa de amor. Ella es mi madre pero también es mi mejor amiga y duele verla en el estado que se encuentra. Desde recibir la mala noticia su cáncer ha hecho metástasis y se ha extendido a varias partes vitales del cuerpo, lo que exige que ella reciba la atención adecuada de los miembros de la salud, familiares y amigos. Durante los últimos 2 meses, su condición se ha complicado críticamente hasta el punto en que nos hemos visto obligados a tomar algunas de las decisiones más desafortunadas para su bienestar. Recién estaba comenzando con la quimioterapia y la radiación, pero su cuerpo estaba demasiado débil para soportar los tratamientos, así que decidimos llevarla a casa. En este momento estamos orando por donaciones y toda la ayuda que podamos obtener para apoyarla durante estos momentos verdaderamente sin precedentes y más desafiantes en nuestras vidas.
