Our mom is 55 years old, a loving mother of 9 and grandmother of 13. She is the heart of our big, close family, and we love her more than words can truly express.

About a week ago, she started experiencing back pain and went to the doctor, where it was misdiagnosed. Later that same night, she suffered a heart attack and had to be rushed into emergency surgery, where doctors placed three stents in her heart.

After a few days in the hospital, she was finally released but just 30 minutes after getting home, she had a stroke. She was life flighted to Grady Hospital in Atlanta, where we learned she had a blood clot in her brain and needed immediate brain surgery.

Although doctors were able to remove the clot, her recovery has been difficult. She is currently struggling with vision loss and can only see on one side, along with other complications.

During this time, our stepdad has taken off work to stay by her side and care for her, leaving them with little to no income while medical bills continue to grow.

We are asking for help to support them during this incredibly difficult time. Donations will go toward medical expenses, medications, and helping cover everyday costs while she recovers.
