Hi Friends and Family,

On Sunday, our world turned upside down. I had to call 911 for my mom after she began showing what we feared were pre-stroke symptoms. When the EMTs arrived, they ruled out a stroke, and the hospital quickly followed up with an MRI that also came back clear. But shortly after, she began experiencing seizures every morning; both silent seizures and tonic seizures, and things have only become more frightening from there.

The doctors are still unsure what is causing these sudden seizures. They’ve been running test after test, trying to determine what is happening, but we still don’t have answers. My siblings and I are exhausted, overwhelmed, and praying for clarity as we watch our mom go through something so terrifying and unpredictable. She has been hospitalized since Sunday night, and every day feels heavier than the last.

We are raising funds to help cover any medical expenses her insurance may not include, as well as the possibility of transferring her to another hospital if needed to explore additional treatment options.
